They help us replace the negative or false perceptions of ourselves with positive truth. All you have to do is repeat them and believe in them and they will change your life dramatically.
Find what you struggle with. Do you feel like you have no energy, or that you have no self worth. What are your insecurities?!
Once you figure out what you want to change, replace it with a positive affirmation. This is how:
Say I struggle with my weight. My internal dialog might be, "I'm fat." I would decide in my heart to truly change this perception and say, "I love myself, I am healthy, I am fit, I am safe." You may be thinking, that's not true though.
Put these positive affirmations where you will see them everyday. Maybe on your mirror or in your car. Say them out loud as though they are true now, make sure they are in the present tense as though they are in the present moment. Be amazed and notice how your life changes.
I write an affirmation with every blog post, some may not resonate with you, but some might. If you like one or thirty, use them! Make up your own, whatever works for you!
Affirmation: I am creative.
